INTELLECTUAL PROJECT
Each year, the ISOSA membership chooses a broad theme which compliments their ongoing research. In the past, the project became either a stand-alone conference or a panel at Madison or AAS.
Last year's project was the on the effects of the movement of Indian cultural forms into world markets, past and present. The electronic discussion group included just over a dozen members and non-members. The results of the intellectual project were a lunch seminar which featured Richard Davis, Dan Ehnbom, Janet O'Shea, Stewart Gordon, and Leslie Orr. This roundtable discussion was held in conjunction with the Madison meetings on Friday at noon.
